Job Description:
I am seeking a skilled and proactive Virtual Assistant to take charge of automating, creating, and managing social media content for my brand, which focuses on empowering young women through personal and professional development. The ideal candidate will not only manage day-to-day social media activities but also be deeply involved in preparing and promoting upcoming events, programs, and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Automation:
Create, design, and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok.
Use tools like Canva, Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite to automate posting and ensure timely content delivery.
Repurpose and optimize content for different platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
Event & Program Promotion:
Coordinate social media campaigns for upcoming events, program launches, and major announcements.
Develop teaser campaigns, countdowns, and interactive posts leading up to key events.
Collaborate with me to create content calendars that prepare social media for upcoming initiatives.
Brand Consistency Across Platforms:
Ensure all social media content aligns with Big Sister's mission and tone of voice.
Unify branding, color schemes, and messaging across all platforms to create a cohesive brand identity.
Stay updated with social media trends to keep the brand fresh and appealing.
Engagement & Analytics:
Monitor social media engagement (likes, comments, shares, etc.) and use AI-driven tools to track performance metrics.
Analyze data to determine what's working and suggest improvements based on trends and audience feedback.
Engage with the community by responding to messages and comments, ensuring a supportive and interactive environment.
Strategic Planning:
Work with me to brainstorm and implement new content ideas, event promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Prepare for significant milestones like program drops, workshops, and other initiatives by creating detailed social media plans.
Assist in designing social media strategies to grow audience and drive engagement, focusing on young women in education, financial literacy, and personal growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or Social Media Manager, with a portfolio of social media work.
Excellent content creation skills (graphic design, video editing, copywriting).
Strong understanding of content automation tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer) and social media management.
Ability to use AI-driven tools (e.g., Sprout Social, BuzzSumo) for engagement analysis and performance tracking.
Knowledge of branding, content marketing, and audience growth strategies.
Experience with promoting events and programs on social media.
Familiarity with platforms popular with young women (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
Experience in personal development, education, or financial literacy sectors.
Event planning and promotion skills for social media.
Additional Information:
This is an ongoing role with opportunities to expand responsibilities as we launch exciting new programs and events. You will have a key role in prepping social media accounts for these major launches, and I will provide content ideas and direction as needed.
