Kickstarter Board Game Marketing Push

Job ID: 40074625

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I’m gearing up to relaunch my board game on Kickstarter right after the holidays and I need an extra set of expert hands to create buzz before day-one. The plan is built around two pillars: Social Media and Email Marketing.

On the social side, Reddit is where my core audience hangs out, so that platform gets top priority. I already moderate a small subreddit for the game, but I want to scale outreach with well-timed AMA announcements, behind-the-scenes development updates, and community challenges that encourage sharing. Clean, punchy images and engaging text posts will form the backbone of each thread. If you see smart cross-posting opportunities to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, feel free to weave those in, but Reddit remains the main stage.

Parallel to that, I’m building an email list from past convention sign-ups and current preorder customers. I need welcome-series copy, a pre-launch countdown sequence, and a launch-day blast—each designed to drive subscribers straight to the Kickstarter page the moment it goes live. Consistent tone between social posts and emails is crucial so the brand voice feels seamless.

Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
• Map out a six-week content calendar that aligns social posts and email drops with pre-launch milestones.
• Produce the actual assets—formatted image files and final text—ready for scheduling.
• Hand over a simple performance-tracking sheet so I can monitor engagement and tweak spend in real time.

If you’ve shepherded tabletop games—or any crowdfunded products—through successful pre-launch marketing cycles and can work comfortably in Reddit, Mailchimp (or similar), and basic design tools like Canva or Photoshop, we’ll hit the ground running.
