Creation of a physical product marketing strategy (political experience preferred)

We have a new product that we're looking to start rolling out. It's a physical product that's a car accessory that doesn't require much explanation, but it's a new type of product that customers don't know exists yet.

We're looking for help developing an effective online marketing strategy involving social media like Twitter and Facebook. We are also open to other recommendations for ways to market.

Some of the variations of our product have American political affiliations, so experience getting these restricted types of products out is a bonus.
