Band PR & Social Media Management
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD
We are an independent rock band called Rockafella, we have a LP record recorded and currently gone to press – vinyl. Two film clips to be completed in the coming weeks. The record was produced by Rob Younger (Radio Birdman / New Christ)
We are seeking a dynamic PR professional who specialises in independent rock and roll band publicity. Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing our band's social media presence on Facebook and Instagram + other platforms
- Drafting and sending out press releases.
- Growing our fan base significantly.
- Generating meaningful media coverage. Print media / Radio etc
- Promoting our upcoming events effectively.
Ideal skills and experience include solid PR experience, excellent communication and writing skills, a knack for social media marketing, and an understanding of the music industry. A proven track record of growing fan bases and generating media coverage will be highly favourable. You should have the ability to identify and seize publicity opportunities that align with our brand and music.
We are motivated and require a like-minded, connected individual to work with and for us. Must understand the Australian independent music, scene specifically rock’n’roll and MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN AUSTRALIA
We will provide music and other material after, positive discussion and demonstration of previous experience.
