Hi, I’m Simon — founder of Mad Tech Heads, a local business based in Faversham, Kent (UK). I handle tech repairs (laptops, PCs, phones, printers, etc.) and build affordable websites for small businesses.
I’m looking for a reliable Virtual Assistant to help me manage local leads and keep my business active on platforms like Nextdoor.
What You’ll Do
Your daily tasks will include:
Monitoring Nextdoor in UK regions (Faversham, Sittingbourne, Whitstable, Canterbury, etc.)
Looking out for posts from people needing tech help or websites
Replying in a friendly and helpful way
Booking confirmed clients into my Google Calendar
Posting a pre-written message on each of my Nextdoor company pages three times per week
Light tracking of who you messaged and what was booked
This is not cold outreach or sales — it’s about offering support when someone is already asking for help.
Pay and Hours
Starting with 1–2 hours per day for the first week
If it goes well, this will increase to 5–10 hours per day
Pay is $2 per hour, depending on experience
Paid via Freelancer, every week
Requirements
Friendly and fluent written English
Reliable and able to check in every day
Comfortable using Google Calendar and basic tools
Can follow instructions and write like a real person
Bonus if you’re familiar with UK locations or Nextdoor
