Budget: $25 – $50 USD

We are a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing a drug candidate aimed at reproductive indications. Our mission is to create innovative treatments that address unmet needs in reproductive health, ultimately improving the quality of life for patients.

Project Objective:
We are seeking a skilled freelancer to assist us in raising awareness of our company and our drug candidate through a strategic social media campaign and media outreach. The goal is to effectively communicate our progress and mission to the general public, rather than healthcare professionals or pharmaceutical experts, and secure media coverage in major outlets such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg, and similar platforms.

Scope of Work:
Social Media Campaign:
- Platforms: Primarily X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn, with potential expansion to other platforms based on strategy.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging, informative, and accessible content tailored to a general audience. Posts should focus on the implications of our drug candidate for reproductive health, company milestones, and other relevant topics.
- Messaging: Craft messages that are easy to understand, avoiding technical jargon while conveying the importance of our work in reproductive health. Highlight the potential benefits of our drug candidate in layman's terms.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute a content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posts. Monitor engagement and adjust strategies as needed to maximize reach and impact.

Media Outreach:
- Target Outlets: Secure coverage in high-profile, mainstream media outlets such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg, and others.
- Press Materials: Develop press releases, media kits, and other necessary materials to effectively communicate our story to journalists and editors.
- Outreach Strategy: Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets. Pitch stories that highlight our company’s mission, progress, and the potential impact of our drug candidate on reproductive health.
- Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts, making adjustments to strategies as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing social media campaigns, particularly in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into content that resonates with the general public.
- Experience in media relations and securing coverage in mainstream media outlets.
- General understanding of healthcare and its implications for the public, though deep pharmaceutical expertise is not required.
- Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Deliverables:
- A comprehensive social media content calendar with at least 2-3 posts per week.
- Regular social media posts aligned with the content calendar, adjusted based on engagement metrics.
- At least one feature in a major media outlet (Financial Times, Bloomberg, etc.).
- Monthly reports on social media engagement and media coverage, with recommendations for improvement.
