Social Media & Executive Assistant for Travel Brand
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I run a young travel brand https://www.youtube.com/@luxurysoloexplorer that thrives on genuine stories and helpful advice. i am looking for a highly proactive Executive Assistant & Social Media Assistant to provide executive support while managing social media activities and online engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing and growing the brand's presence across multiple social media platforms.
• Schedule, publish, and monitor content across all relevant channels.
• Write blog articles from scratch and edit existing blog content to maintain quality and consistency.
• Support brand-building initiatives, thought leadership activities, podcast opportunities, media interactions, and other marketing initiatives as they develop.
• Co-ordination and admin tasks, as required.
Ideal Candidate
• Proven experience in social media management across multiple platforms.
• Strong blog writing and editing skills, with the ability to create articles from scratch.
• Experience in content creation, including written, visual, and promotional content.
• Prior exposure to the luxury travel industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience using social media tools
• Exceptional, Human-First English writing skills ( both written and verbal) — fluent, creative, and naturally conversational, with proven ability to adopt and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, sense opportunities, and meet weekly deliverables without being chased.
• Proactive and highly organized, with strong communication and accountability.
Mandatory:
Laptop, with Webcam and headsets to attend video calls as required.
High speed broadband internet, mobile internet will not be suitable.
• Expectation: UPTO 20 hours per week. hours and days are flexible , but some overlap with Australian Eastern time zone is required for communication, specially using MS Teams. Payments will be on hourly basis, made fortnightly on a Thursday.
• Please quote your expected weekly rate (in AUD) and indicate your availability and preferred schedule.
• Include links of your writing (forum posts, blogs, or travel-related work).
• Preference will be given to candidates with genuine travel experience or enthusiasm for global exploration.
