Social Media Content Manager (German Market – Cannabis Clubs)

Description:
We are looking for a Social Media Content Manager with native-level German to support our content operations for the German cannabis social club market.
We already have a main content team that produces the core content (posts, videos, stories, reels, etc.). Your role will be to:
- Localize and adapt this content for the German-speaking audience.
- Create captions, hashtags, and text adjustments that resonate with the target market.
- Ensure all content is culturally relevant and compliant with platform rules and the specific sensitivities of the cannabis industry in Germany.
- Coordinate closely with our main content managers to receive raw files and provide back the localized versions ready for publishing.
- Manage scheduling and posting across our Instagram and other relevant platforms.
Requirements:
- Native-level German (spoken & written).
- Strong understanding of German culture and cannabis-related communities.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts (preferably Instagram, TikTok, and Meta platforms).
- Ability to write engaging captions and adapt messaging from English to German while keeping the brand voice.
- Basic skills in handling raw content files (e.g., adding subtitles, light text edits on videos, or adapting story text).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the cannabis industry or community management in a sensitive/regulated market.
- Knowledge of social media automation tools (e.g., ManyChat, scheduling tools).
Scope:
- Ongoing collaboration, part-time role.
- Work directly with our core content managers.
