Part-Time Instagram & TikTok Community Manager (Bookish/Coquette Niche)

Job ID: 40174013

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

Location: Remote | Hours: 1-3 hours/week (with growth potential) | Start: ASAP

About the Role & Niche:

I'm a writer on IG/TikTok steering my emphasis on:
- Coquette + academic/bookish (studied girl, literary mornings, romantic academia vibes)
- Gloomy coquette + mental health narratives (soft melancholy, emotional validation, NOT crisis content)

However I'm not great at being consistent, and could use assistance with keeping my account active.

Your role (to start): Spend 1-3 hours/week interacting thoughtfully in my niche to build relationships and community. Along the way, flag standout content ideas you notice organically.

Growth path: More hours/responsibility available if this goes well (trend research, content planning, etc.).

Core Responsibilities (1-3 Hours/Week):

1. Daily Niche Engagement (Primary Focus)

Like + comment thoughtfully (not spammy) on 15–25 relevant posts per week on both platforms from my account.

Target creators/accounts in: Coquette, gloomy coquette, dollette, girlblog, literary core, studied girl, soft, mental health, romantic aesthetics.
Comment style: Intelligent, emotionally-aware, specific, stands out among the sea of emoji comments.
Goal: Build genuine relationships, get noticed by niche creators, foster community.

2. Organic Idea Capture (Secondary):

As you scroll/interact, flag any content ideas per week you notice working well. Forward these to me on discovery (ideally via Slack):

Simple format:
Post: [link]
Why it works: [1 sentence]
How to adapt: [1 sentence]

No formal research required—just your natural eye for what resonates.

What Success Looks Like (First 30 Days):

My comment section starts showing mutual engagement from niche creators.
I get actionable content ideas without asking.
Your interactions feel on-brand (smart, soft, authentic).
We extend hours/responsibility together.

Ideal Candidate:

Has grown TikTok accounts before (your own or for others—share proof/examples).
Strong written English. Writes short, smart, emotionally-intelligent comments that don't sound like bots.
Notices what's working (hooks, sounds, editing) and can explain why simply.
Reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with async communication.

Time & Pay:

Hours: 1-3 hours/week (flexible scheduling).
Compensation: To be discussed based on experience (hourly or monthly retainer)
