Manage Social Media for Community Campaign

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

Two Casey residents running a community campaign opposing Casey Council's decision to build a $310K carpark inside Wilson Botanic Park, Berwick. Council overrode its own officers and majority community feedback to approve this. We need someone to run social media for 3 months to build public pressure.
ALL STRATEGY AND CONTENT IS DEVELOPED. Press releases, messaging, key facts, photos and quotes ready. We need execution only.
SETUP (Month 1):

Create/brand Facebook page + Instagram account
Set up Change.org petition
Create 10-15 reusable Canva post templates (#SaveWilsonPark)
Set up geo-targeted Facebook ads for Casey postcodes

ONGOING (3 months):

4-5 posts/week across Facebook and Instagram
Manage Facebook ad campaign ($150-200/month ad spend paid by us separately)
Weekly posts in local community Facebook groups
Basic monthly report: reach, engagement, petition numbers

WE PROVIDE: Full campaign strategy doc, press releases, park photos, spokesperson quotes, key facts. Quick approval on content before posting.
IDEAL PERSON:

Facebook/Instagram content + Meta Ads Manager experience
Comfortable with community advocacy tone (residents vs council, not a brand)
Melbourne-based or AU timezone
Can show example of geo-targeted Facebook ad

NOT NEEDED: TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, influencer outreach, video production or strategy development.
BUDGET: $400-600/month management fee. Ad spend paid separately. 3-month commitment starting ASAP.
