Long-term Virtual Assistant for UK Tech Business
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Hey! I’m Simon — founder of Mad Tech Heads, a local tech repair and website design business based in Faversham, Kent (UK). I fix laptops, PCs, phones, printers — basically anything that plugs in — and build affordable websites for small businesses.
I’m looking for a reliable, proactive Virtual Assistant who can help manage local leads, post on social media, and keep things running smoothly while I focus on repairs and client projects.
What You’ll Do
Your daily tasks will include:
Monitoring Nextdoor in local UK regions (Faversham, Sittingbourne, Whitstable, Canterbury, etc.)
Looking out for posts from people needing tech help or websites
Replying to them in a friendly, human, and helpful way (not robotic)
Booking confirmed clients directly into Google Calendar
Posting pre-written messages on each of the company’s Nextdoor pages three times per week
Posting updates and offers on the company Facebook page
Using the company Facebook page to find local work opportunities
Tracking who you’ve messaged and which leads have booked
This isn’t cold outreach or pushy sales — you’ll simply be helping people who are already asking for help.
Pay & Hours
Start with 1–2 hours per day (trial week)
If it goes well, increase to 5–10 hours per day
$2/hour to start (may increase with experience and performance)
Weekly payments via Freelancer
Requirements
Friendly and fluent written English
Reliable — must check in daily and communicate clearly
Comfortable using Google Calendar and simple online tools
Can follow instructions and write naturally (no copy-paste replies)
Bonus: Familiarity with UK locations or Nextdoor
Growth Potential
I’m looking for someone who can grow with the company — someone who can eventually handle clients, bookings, and general admin tasks as we expand. If you’re dependable, smart, and want consistent long-term work, you’ll fit right in.
How to Apply
Please send a short message including:
A quick introduction about yourself
Your hourly rate
A sample reply to this post:
“Can anyone recommend someone to fix a slow laptop?”
I’m hoping to hire within the next 48 hours — so if this sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you.
