Locate and/or delete a Facebook troll account
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m being harassed by a fake Facebook profile and need it gone. The profile hides behind an unfamiliar name and image, so the very first task is to track down its exact URL or ID and confirm that every piece of activity really belongs to the same account. Once identified, I want solid evidence—screenshots, archived links, date/time stamps—packaged neatly so there’s no doubt about the abusive behaviour.
After that, the goal is permanent removal. I expect guidance on the most effective, policy-compliant route to have Facebook take the profile down or, if you have the authorised means, you can handle the reporting process directly on my behalf. Under no circumstances should any method violate Facebook’s terms or the law; I’m looking for investigative OSINT skills, not hacking.
Acceptance criteria
• Account URL or numeric ID delivered with a short brief on how it was confirmed
• A folder containing organised evidence of harassment (images, links, logs)
• Proof that the deletion request was submitted and Facebook’s final response, or a clear written explanation if deletion is not achievable
If you’ve successfully shut down similar troll accounts, tell me how you approached it—CrowdTangle searches, Graph API look-ups, coordinated reporting waves, etc.—and how long it usually takes. Confidentiality is essential, and I’m prepared to sign an NDA so you can work comfortably.
