Local Facebook Group Research for UK Service Business
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m looking for a freelancer to carry out research into local Facebook groups for my business, The Side Gate Company.
The research should focus on local community Facebook groups in the following areas:
- Preston
- Lancaster
- Blackpool
- Blackburn
- Chorley
- Manchester
I would like the freelancer to:
- Find active local Facebook groups relevant to homeowners/local residents
- Document the group names and links
- Check and record each group’s posting rules
- Specifically note:
- Which days business posts are allowed
- Whether promotional/service posts are permitted
- Any restrictions on images, links, or frequency of posting
- Ignore groups that only allow Facebook Marketplace-style listings or classified-only posts
I am mainly interested in groups where I can post my own text, photos, before & after projects, and engage with the community naturally.
I would like all findings presented in a clear, organised document or spreadsheet that makes it easy for me to:
- Join the groups
- Understand the rules quickly
- Create a weekly posting schedule showing which groups I can post in on which days
Ideally, the final document should be well organised, easy to follow, and practical for day-to-day use.
Please note: I do not require access management or posting on my Facebook account. I simply need research carried out using the freelancer’s own Facebook account to identify suitable groups and document their rules/details.
