Instagram Political Engagement Specialist

Your task is to monitor the public Instagram accounts of a rising political figure and jump into the conversation with sharp, well-reasoned comments or questions. Each response needs to challenge a specific statement, policy, image, or caption in a way that is both respectful and unmistakably critical and assertive.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Track new posts, Stories, Reels, and Lives from a public figure
• Draft concise, issue-focused replies that spark dialogue without resorting to insults or personal attacks.
• Keep language clear, fact-based, and free of partisan slang so the critique stands on its own merits.
• Log links or screenshots of each published comment for quick reference.
Deliverables each week:
1. Comment log (post link, timestamp, full text).
2. Brief notes on audience reactions—likes, replies, or notable engagements.
3. Suggestions for follow-up angles if a topic gains traction.
Acceptance criteria:
• Minimum agreed-upon number of timely comments posted.
• Tone consistently meets the “critical and assertive, yet respectful” standard.
• No deleted or flagged comments due to guideline violations.
Strong written English, familiarity with Instagram’s community rules, and a solid grasp of global political developments will help you succeed. If you already use tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar for monitoring and reporting, let me know; streamlined workflows are a plus.
