Grow Engaged Facebook Book Community
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a social media manager to help grow the Facebook presence for my newly released science fiction novel.
My goal isn't just to gain followers. I want to build an active community of readers who enjoy discussing the story, sharing theories, interacting with the characters, and following the journey of the series as it grows. Book sales are important, but I believe a genuine community comes first.
Responsibilities include:
* Creating and scheduling engaging Facebook content, including book excerpts, behind-the-scenes writing updates, world-building posts, reader questions, polls, quizzes, and other interactive content.
* Developing an organic growth strategy that attracts readers who genuinely enjoy science fiction and post-apocalyptic stories.
* Encouraging meaningful engagement and conversations rather than focusing on vanity metrics.
* Monitoring page performance, identifying what's working, and providing recommendations to improve results over time.
**Requirements:**
* Demonstrated experience managing and growing Facebook pages for authors, books, or other creative brands.
* Please include examples of pages you've personally managed and describe the strategies you used to grow engagement.
* Tell me what you would do during the first 30 days if you were managing this page.
I'm looking for someone interested in building a long-term partnership, not simply scheduling generic AI-generated posts. Personalized proposals that demonstrate you've read this project will receive priority consideration.
The tone of the page should be hopeful, thoughtful, and community-focused. While DUMB 31 is post-apocalyptic science fiction, the heart of the series is humanity, rebuilding civilization, and the relationships between its characters.
