Marketing & Development Partner — Documentary Film Project

Company: Boy Jerry Pictures (Independent Film Studio)
Compensation: Flexible / Negotiable

About Boy Jerry Pictures

Boy Jerry Pictures (BJP) is an emerging independent film studio dedicated to bold, truth-driven storytelling that exposes injustice, inspires courage, and uplifts the human spirit.

We are currently developing Eyes in the Sky, a feature documentary that explores the hidden realities of modern surveillance, targeting, and resilience — transforming lived experiences into a global call for awareness and action. This project is both a film and a movement.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing & Development Partner who can work across all departments during this critical early stage of growth. This role bridges marketing, fundraising, partnerships, and audience engagement — helping to shape both the project’s public identity and the long-term foundation of Boy Jerry Pictures.

This is an opportunity for a self-driven, entrepreneurial collaborator who thrives in start-up environments and wants to play a key role in building a studio with purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate across departments — production, creative, outreach, and operations — to align messaging, branding, and impact strategy.

Develop and execute marketing and audience growth plans, including brand identity, campaign strategy, and digital presence.

Lead or support fundraising and development efforts, including grants, sponsorships, partnerships, and crowdfunding.

Build and manage relationships with advocacy organizations, press, influencers, and community networks that align with the film’s mission.

Contribute to long-term studio strategy, helping shape the voice, growth model, and community engagement vision of Boy Jerry Pictures.

Who We’re Looking For

Proven experience in marketing, development, or outreach within media, film, or creative industries.

A hands-on collaborator who can move between creative, logistical, and strategic tasks.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.

Passion for storytelling that drives social awareness and change.

Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working in a start-up, cross-functional environment where every contribution matters.

Compensation

As we are in an early growth phase, compensation is flexible and negotiable. We are open to discussing:

Hourly or project-based pay

Stipend + performance incentives

Profit-share or equity partnership structures

Compensation will grow as the project and studio expand.
