Consistent Social Media Manager for Romance Author

Ongoing Social Media Content Creator / Curator for Author (TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts)
About Me:
I am an author of six books currently working on a new adult romance novel. I’m looking for a long-term collaborator who can help me grow my online presence across TikTok (#BookTok, #AuthorTok), YouTube Shorts (#AuthorTube, #BookTube), and Instagram Reels (#AuthorReels, #BookReels).
What I Need:
A skilled and reliable social media content creator who can take raw footage and turn it into polished, engaging short-form content. You’ll work independently and remotely, using provided footage plus new clips I continue to film.
Responsibilities:
• Create 15 pieces of content per week:
–– 5 TikToks
–– 5 Instagram Reels
–– 5 YouTube Shorts
• Edit footage I provide (access via Google Drive)
• Keep up with the newest trends, sounds, and formats on TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Conduct regular SEO research for captions, hashtags, and metadata
• Track current trends, viral formats, and emerging ideas in BookTok/AuthorTok, BookTube, and the wider romance-reader community
• Upload finished content + instructions on which sound to use (or the sound file itself) back to the Drive
• Curate ideas and help shape a consistent, appealing online presence for an author brand
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience with short-form video editing
• Familiarity with BookTok, AuthorTok, BookTube, and romance reader communities
• Trend-savvy and comfortable identifying viral formats
• Strong communication, time management, and ability to work autonomously
• Creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and aesthetic
Work Style:
• Fully remote
• Flexible schedule as long as weekly content is delivered on time
• Long-term ongoing collaboration for the right fit
