WordPress Tune-Up & Fixes

My WordPress site needs a quick but thorough tune-up. First, I want both the theme and all active plugins brought up to their latest stable versions without breaking any existing layouts. Right now, there are plug ins that need updating, and the dashboard keeps warning that the theme is out-of-date, so that needs addressing, too.

Once the upgrades are smooth, I’d like you to chase down two newsletter issues: new subscribers aren’t always added to the list, and even when they are, confirmation and campaign emails aren’t consistently reaching inboxes.

On top of that, a single social-media icon (Substack) has to be added to the header next to the existing links. Finally, my contact form occasionally fails to send messages; I need you to test it end-to-end and resolve any mail-handling or validation problems.

Deliverables should include:
• Updated theme and plugins, visually verified on desktop and mobile
• Fully functional newsletter signup with confirmed email delivery
• Substack link live in the header/footer as appropriate
• Contact form tested, fixed, and sending notifications reliably
Also, one issue with how the search shows on google

If you’re comfortable working in the WordPress admin, editing a bit of PHP/CSS when required, and digging into email configurations (Mailgun, SMTP, or similar), this job should be straightforward. I’ll provide admin credentials and, if needed, hosting panel access as soon as we start.
