I need a small yet rock-solid utility that can confirm whether an email address truly exists at the mailbox level. Syntax and MX checks are trivial; what I lack is a dependable mailbox-level validator that works both directly and through rotating proxies.

Core requirements
• Language is flexible—Python, Java, Go, or whatever you excel in.
• Mailbox validation must be the primary focus. Use SMTP handshake, VRFY, RCPT-TO, or any other reliable method that avoids bulk-blocking and false positives.
• Two operating modes:
1. Direct (no proxy).
2. Proxy (accept a pool of proxies and rotate automatically). I’m open to HTTP, SOCKS, or residential—use whichever gives the highest success rate and document the setup clearly.

Deliverables
• Clean, well-commented source code.
• A configuration file or command-line flags that let me switch between direct and proxy modes.
• A concise README describing prerequisites, execution steps, and proxy integration.
• A brief test report showing accuracy on a sample list.
