Configure Gmail SMTP

I need my Gmail account wired up for reliable transactional emails coming from my application. Your task is to create the SMTP configuration, plug in the correct Gmail server details, and prove that messages reach an inbox without tripping spam filters.

I am on Gmail, so you’ll handle the usual smtp.gmail.com settings, ports, TLS/SSL, and any required authentication method. I’m happy to follow your advice on whether OAuth 2, an app-specific password, or another secure approach is best, as long as it keeps sending stable and compliant.
