Complete SMTP Setup with Hosting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a turnkey SMTP solution that can reliably handle about 50,000 transactional emails every day. I don’t have a domain or a VPS yet, so part of the job is to source and configure both, then build and secure the mail server from the ground up.
Here’s what success looks like for me:
• You register or transfer in a clean domain, spin up an appropriate VPS, and install a mail stack (Postfix, Exim, or any proven alternative you prefer).
• DNS is fully locked down—SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records propagate correctly and pass common tests.
• The server is tuned for high-volume, transactional traffic with solid IP reputation practices (basic warm-up plan, rDNS, TLS, rate limits, queue management).
• I can authenticate via SMTP (SSL/TLS, port 465 or 587) from my application and reach inboxes, not spam folders.
• A brief hand-over document covers log-ins, basic maintenance, and scaling pointers.
