Web3 Social Platform MVP
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I want to turn my early-stage concept for a decentralised social network into a working MVP. The core idea is familiar—profiles, public and private posts, and real-time conversations—but every interaction must be recorded or validated on-chain so users keep ownership of their data and digital assets.
Here’s the shape of work as I see it right now:
• Architecture & tech stack – advise me on the most appropriate L1 or L2 to build on, outline how smart contracts, a token (if we need one), and the front-end will mesh together.
• Smart contracts – design and deploy the contracts that power account creation, post storage/metadata, and any tokenised features such as tipping or gated communities.
• Front-end – a clean, mobile-responsive web app that connects via wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, etc.) and lets people create profiles, post text, images or links, follow others, and message.
• Back-end / decentralised storage – pick the best mix of IPFS, Arweave, or other solutions to keep media accessible without sacrificing decentralisation.
• Security & gas optimisation – audits, testing, and tweaks so the MVP is safe and affordable for users.
You’ll hand over commented code (smart contracts and front-end), deployment scripts, and a short README that lets me spin everything up on testnet. From there we can iterate toward a full launch, but the immediate milestone is a feature-complete MVP running on a public test network.
