Vote Counting System
Story:
As an Elections Management Board (EMB), we want to implement a secure and transparent vote-counting system using the Algorand Blockchain platform, Smart Contracts in Scala, and REST API. The system should allow the EMB to set the polling station number and create a smart ballot for the verified Electoral Proof of Stake/Election observers (EPoS). The EPoS should be able to record the vote count to the local blockchain and then write to the main blockchain. The system should ensure that a consensus is achieved on the local blockchain before recording the approved vote count to the cloud blockchain for national collation. The EPoS should be able to verify if their smart ballot was counted as part of the national collation. The system should also provide a user interface for the Election Official, Central Election Collation Center, and Stakeholders to interact with the system.
