Create and List NFT collection for Donations
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Hi :)
My name is David, from South Africa. I'm looking to create a collection of NFT's that'll be used for donations and charity.
I want to create 10 000 NFT's, AI/Random generated. The idea would be a circle of hands holding each others wrists. Imagine like 5 arms/hands holding wrists to make a circle, and each one is styled in one of the ±200 countries styles/themes/cultural attire.
I want the collection to have a floor price of 100$ and raise $1 000 000 dollars for charity. I want to have in the smart contract, that 10% of all sales go into the companies account, for paying staff and running the charity. The remaining 90% revenue goes into a separate account, where the public can see transactions and fund spending. I'd also like to include that all re-sales of the NFT, a % goes straight into the business account and a larger % into the charity account.
I'll also be documenting the entire charitable actions on tiktok/insta etc, so they buyers can all see where their money is going to. I'm sure you've seen those videos where a creator meets a homeless person, here's their story, raises money, helps the person and documents the entire thing for the audience/donors. My longer vision for this is that by owning the NFT (or token later), you are able to vote on how the funds are spent. So I want to tell stories of all the struggling people in my city, and let the donors dictate who gets what assistance.
This is just the start. I'd love to move onto creating a company token/coin once we have sold the first NFT collection and have some funds to build. Longer vision would include airdrops of partner collection to out current holders, or cashback incentives for donations above X%.
The overarching idea is: I want to create a donation system that benefits not just the recipient, but the donor too. If you're doing good, you should be rewarded too. (It won't ever be an equal rewards ratio, but getting *something* from donating is better than nothing!)
If this sounds interesting to you, I'd really love to have a chat and see how quickly we can get this out and in the public. Would also love to hear your ideas on marketing, and how far before launching the collection one should market.
Looking forward to it!
Thanks
David :)
