BlessDEX - a decentralized exchange (DEX)
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
BlessDEX MVP – Development Requirement Specification
1. Project Overview
BlessDEX is a decentralized exchange (DEX) enabling users to securely swap tokens using an Automated Market Maker (AMM) model. The MVP will prioritize a simple, functional, and secure swap experience, focusing on BBTC/USDT as the primary trading pair.
2. Core Features (MVP Scope)
2.1 Smart Contracts
Deploy core AMM contracts (fork of Uniswap v2/v3).
Enable liquidity pools: BBTC/USDT (primary), optional additional pairs.
Functions: swap, add/remove liquidity, view pool balances.
Optional: governance token (Phase 2).
Ensure compatibility with EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, BSC, Polygon).
2.2 Front-End (Web DApp)
Custom UI with BlessDEX branding.
Wallet connection support: MetaMask, WalletConnect.
Swap interface:
Token selection
Price/slippage settings
Transaction summary & confirmation
Liquidity interface:
Add/remove liquidity
Display pool share and rewards
Responsive design: desktop + mobile.
2.3 Back-End & Indexing
Subgraph or indexing service (The Graph) to:
Track liquidity pools
Track trading volume & user positions
Provide a REST/GraphQL API for front-end data.
2.4 Infrastructure
Deployment environment:
Ethereum testnet (Goerli/SEPOLIA) for testing
Ethereum mainnet or low-fee chains (Polygon/BSC) for production
Optional server: R730 for hosting indexer and front-end DApp.
2.5 Security & Testing
Smart contract unit testing using Hardhat or Foundry.
UI/UX testing for desktop and mobile.
Optional third-party code audit (Phase 2).
3. Non-Functional Requirements
Performance: Handle ≥500 daily active users at MVP launch.
Scalability: Easy migration to multi-chain deployment.
Security: Non-custodial; all user funds remain in wallets.
Usability: Simple and intuitive interface; similar experience to Uniswap.
4. Technology Stack
Smart Contracts: Solidity (Uniswap v2/v3 fork)
Front-End: React + Ethers.js / Web3.js
Back-End / Indexing: Node.js + The Graph
Hosting / Deployment: Docker on R730 server or cloud environment
Wallet Integration: MetaMask, WalletConnect
✅ Summary:
The MVP focuses on secure swaps + liquidity pools + wallet integration, deployable on an EVM-compatible chain, with minimal initial development but scalable for future expansion.
