Slack–Sheets Workflow Automation
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I already run a live Slack Workflow Builder flow where users first pick a Product and then a Topic from dropdown menus. Right after those two choices are submitted I now need the workflow to launch a follow-up questionnaire of open-ended text questions—at least eleven of them—and capture every answer.
The enhanced flow must automatically push the following into a single, shared Google Sheet (one tab only):
• the Product selection
• the Topic selection
• each response to the 11+ open-ended questions
• date-time stamp and Slack user ID for traceability
I do not want separate tabs; all rows should land in the same sheet so the data set is easy to filter and pivot later.
You can extend the existing Workflow Builder configuration if possible, or invoke Slack’s API via a custom function or an external service (Apps Script, Zapier, Make, etc.)—whichever meets Slack’s security model and keeps the hand-off seamless to end users. The key is that once the Product/Topic modal is submitted, the questionnaire appears instantly and nothing has to be triggered manually.
Deliverable: a working solution deployed in my workspace, source code or scripts used, and brief hand-off notes so I can maintain or add more open-ended questions later.
