Senior US CAD Drafter
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m adding a seasoned residential CAD drafter to my studio. You’ll be taking my sketches and mark-ups and turning them into permit-ready construction documents that comply with the 2023 Florida Building Code (8th edition) and the relevant International Residential Code. A minimum of ten years’ U.S. experience is required, as accuracy in code citations, dimensions, and annotations is critical.
Most of our coordination happens asynchronously, with an occasional Zoom or Slack check-in when a detail needs talking through, so you should be comfortable working independently once the scope is clear.
When you respond, include examples of past residential plan sets you produced—PDFs or screenshots are fine—as I review real work to gauge fit.
Deliverables
• Fully dimensioned floor plans, elevations, sections, and details in AutoCAD (.dwg) and PDF
• One consolidated revision cycle based on my redlines
If you can demonstrate deep FBC/IRC knowledge and clear, buildable drawings, I’m ready to slot you in right away.
