Job ID: 40258474

Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR

Job Title

**QCP / Six Sigma Black Belt – Training & Capability Lead (Application-Focused)**

About the Role

We are building an internal Department of Digital & Operational Excellence (DOE) to drive organisation-wide process transformation.

Our mandate includes:

* Redesigning business processes end-to-end
* Delivering minimum 10% cost reduction
* Embedding AI into operations
* Building sustainable internal capability

We are looking for a **Senior Six Sigma Black Belt** who can lead QCP (Quality Control Process) training and, more importantly, ensure real-world application and measurable impact.

This is NOT a classroom-only trainer role.
This is a capability-building and project-coaching role.

Role Objective

Transform QCP from a certification exercise into a measurable cost-reduction engine.

Key Responsibilities

Redesign QCP Training Model

* Evaluate current Yellow/Green Belt training effectiveness
* Redesign curriculum to be application-driven
* Align training directly to live business projects
* Introduce strict certification criteria based on project outcomes

Principle:
No training without project.
No project without measurable results.
No certification without demonstrated application.

Coach Live DMAIC Projects

* Mentor Yellow & Green Belt project teams
* Review problem statements for clarity and precision
* Ensure strong 5-Why analysis (internal root causes, not external blame)
* Validate fishbone diagrams
* Guide hypothesis testing and data validation
* Approve control plans before closure

This role must significantly raise the quality of problem-solving across functions.

Establish Governance & Review Cadence

* Install weekly / fortnightly project review board
* Standardise templates (SIPOC, CTQs, control charts, dashboards)
* Define quality gates for DMAIC phases
* Track project-level cost impact

Drive Measurable Cost Reduction

* Ensure every certified project quantifies:

* Baseline cost
* Post-improvement cost
* % reduction
* Sustainability plan
* Consolidate impact dashboard
* Present quarterly review to leadership

Target:
Projects must contribute meaningfully toward 10% cost-reduction mandate.

Build Long-Term Internal Capability

* Identify future Black Belt pipeline
* Develop internal Green Belt coaches
* Institutionalise Six Sigma thinking in daily operations
* Embed data-driven culture across CX, Sales, Technical, IT, etc.

This role should leave behind a strong internal bench — not dependency.

Required Qualifications

* Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (mandatory)
* 8–12+ years in operational excellence / process improvement
* Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings
* Experience coaching Yellow & Green Belt projects
* Strong statistical understanding (control charts, hypothesis testing, regression basics)

Preferred:

* Experience in telecom / service operations / customer experience environments
* Experience integrating automation or AI into process redesign
* Experience running multi-functional transformation programs

Core Skills Required

* Deep DMAIC expertise
* Strong root-cause analysis discipline
* Quantitative and analytical thinking
* Coaching and mentoring capability
* Executive communication skills
* Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively
* Strong governance mindset

Expected Deliverables (First 6 Months)

* Redesigned QCP curriculum
* 2–3 live Green Belt projects delivered with measurable cost reduction
* Project review governance established
* Quality improvement in 5-Why and problem framing
* Impact dashboard operational
* Internal capability roadmap defined

Engagement Model

Option 1: 6-month contract (30–40 hours/week)
Option 2: Retainer-based coaching (part-time, project-driven)

Location: Remote with periodic leadership workshops

Success Metrics

* Improvement in quality of problem statements
* Increase in measurable project ROI
* Reduction in superficial root-cause analysis
* Number of projects delivering verified cost impact
* Internal satisfaction with training quality

What We Are NOT Looking For

* Trainers focused only on theory
* Certification mills
* PowerPoint-heavy instructors without project delivery experience
* Black Belts who have never coached real projects
