Hire subcontractors for Manufacturing Waste Reduction Process Consultancy

For manufacturing plant and I’m looking for your expertise to cut the material and energy waste that creeps in during the core manufacturing process. My immediate goal is to pinpoint every non-value-adding step on the shop floor, quantify the associated losses, and then turn those findings into a practical, time-phased improvement plan we can start rolling out within the next quarter.

Here’s what I need from you:
• A rapid diagnostic of our current flow, using Lean, Six Sigma or comparable toolsets—value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, SPC, OEE, whichever combination gets us the cleanest data.
• A clear waste baseline: percentage losses, scrap tonnage, rework hours, and the cost these represent.
• A concise improvement roadmap that ranks actions by impact, effort and ROI and identifies where external subcontractors (e.g., equipment re-tooling, recycling or automation specialists) will add the most value.
• Coaching sessions with my line supervisors and engineers so they understand the “why” behind every recommendation and can sustain the gains after you hand over.

I’ll supply production data, videos of the line, quality logs and any maintenance reports you request. Most collaboration can happen remotely; if an on-site visit becomes necessary we can schedule that after the initial analysis.

Acceptance criteria
1. Diagnostic report delivered in PDF plus all supporting spreadsheets.
2. Baseline metrics reviewed and signed off by our operations manager.
3. Roadmap with prioritized actions, target % waste reduction, and an implementation timeline.
4. Two virtual training workshops recorded for future reference.
