Configure FreePBX Caller ID Forwarding
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m running FreePBX 16 and use the built-in Call Forward feature. When a call is diverted, I need the phone that ultimately rings to show the original caller’s number, not my PBX’s trunk or any intermediary ID.
Here’s what I expect:
• Analyse my current inbound route, extension and trunk settings.
• Adjust diversion headers or any necessary SIP/VoIP parameters so the forwarded leg passes the original Caller ID intact.
• Provide a brief, step-by-step note of what was changed. It should be done globally and not per extension.
Once your changes are in place, I will run a live test call with you on the line to confirm the correct number appears on the destination device.
