2 way FSI Tidal Turbine Simulation
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
I need a complete two-way FSI set-up that captures how a tidal turbine behaves under fully turbulent flow. The emphasis is on the fluid-side physics—pressure, velocity field, wakes and power extraction—while still letting the structural solver respond so the coupling is truly two-way.
What I already have: blade geometry in STEP and basic operating conditions (velocity profile, water properties). What I need from you is the full Workbench project ready to run, with proper meshing, dynamic timestepping and turbulence modelling (k-ω SST or your proven alternative). Please keep the workflow clean so I can adjust parameters later.
Deliverables
• ANSYS Workbench archive with CFD, structural and System Coupling cells configured for transient turbulent flow
• Custom scripts or APDL commands you use
• A short report (PDF) summarising assumptions, mesh metrics, convergence plots and key results such as Cp, thrust and deformation
I’ll sign off once the model runs without errors on my end and the main results are within 5 % of published data for a comparable turbine.
