Urgent PSCAD Fault Study
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a short window—just two hours—to finish a fault-study exercise in PSCAD . The model itself is simple: it must accept Thevenin-equivalent values I already calculated in Assignment 1, run both a balanced three-phase fault and a single-line-to-ground fault at a sensible bus, and then give me the resulting fault currents.
Here’s what has to land on my desk by the end of the two-hour slot:
• A PSCAD project file containing the single-line model with my Thevenin data entered
• Simulation results showing the current waveforms for the two specified faults
• A clear comparison table—analytical vs. PSCAD values—with percentage error for each current figure
• Two-to-three concise paragraphs interpreting why any deviation appears, touching on source impedance, prefault voltage assumptions, or modelling limits
If a particular fault location makes the setup easier or more accurate, feel free to choose it; just note the choice so I can reference it in my report.
