Problem: Visitors come to a museum with an average inter arrival time (IAT) of 20
minutes, but actual IATs vary between 15 and 25 minutes with equal probabilities for all
times in this interval. They stay on average during half an hour. Some might stay for only
a quarter of an hour, some for even up to three-quarters of an hour. Make a model that
simulates a day of five hours to determine how many visitors at closing time had planned
to stay longer (Are still in the museum when the doors are closing). Run the model a single
time in Excel and in Agpss.
Turn in the following information:
1. Printout (or PDF) of the Excel tables used to run the simulation, make sure to highlight
the answer to the problem..
2. Printout (or TXT file) of the “program list” showing the code generated by Agpss to
run the simulation
3. Printout (or TXT file) of the Agpss answer to the problem
