Modeling & Simulation Engineering Project

Job ID: 40449729

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m developing a mathematical-engineering project centred on modelling and simulation. The assignment is to turn a real-world system’s behaviour into a sound mathematical model, implement it in code, and verify that the simulated response matches reality.

Here’s what the work involves: first, examine the problem statement I will share and identify the governing equations or empirical relationships. Next, build a computational model—Python with NumPy/SciPy, MATLAB, Simulink, or an equivalent platform all fit the brief, so choose whichever you handle best—and code the simulation so it can sweep through multiple scenarios. Finally, validate the results against the reference data I provide and refine any parameters that drift.

Deliverables
• Well-commented source code of the complete model.
• A concise technical note (about 3–5 pages) explaining the assumptions, numerical methods, simulation setup, and key findings.
• Clear visual outputs (plots or animations) that demonstrate system response under the test cases.

Acceptance criteria
• Baseline behaviour reproduced within ±5 % of the reference data.
• Code runs error-free on stock Python 3.10 or MATLAB R2023b installations.
• Report is reproducible, cites all external libraries, and lets another engineer follow every step without guesswork.

I’ll supply the problem description, any initial conditions, and target data as soon as we start.
