S7-1200 Modbus Network Weintek HMI Programming
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I have seven Siemens S7-1200 PLCs, each wired to individual Schneider power meter over RS-485 Modbus. What I need is a clean, reusable TIA-Portal program that:
• polls the meter on every PLC, correctly decoding the double-word float registers for Voltage, Current, Power and Energy
• publishes those values over Ethernet/IP to a single S7-1200 “master” PLC, tagged so that each field device is clearly identifiable
• forwards the consolidated data set to an existing Weintek HMI (EasyBuilder Pro project) where all parameters are displayed in real time with meaningful labels and engineering units
I will supply the Schneider register map, node addresses and the current TIA project skeleton. Your task is to create the Modbus function block(s), network data exchange logic, and the HMI tags/pages, then prove everything in simulation or with your own hardware before hand-over.
Deliverables
1. TIA Portal v17 project files for all eight PLCs, fully commented
2. Weintek EasyBuilder Pro project updated with working data tags and sample screens
3. Brief commissioning guide (connection settings, DIP switch positions, expected scan times)
4. Remote walk-through session to verify live values on my bench
Acceptance will be based on error-free compilation, live readouts that match the Schneider meter, and uninterrupted data flow between all PLCs and the HMI for at least 30 minutes.
