Mineral Processing PFD Simulation
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I have an early-stage process flow diagram for a mineral processing plant and need an experienced engineer to turn it into a robust, simulation-backed design. My priority is refining the initial design, closing mass balances, and identifying any bottlenecks before we move to detailed engineering or operations.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Build or clean up the current PFD in AggFlow (or a comparable simulation platform), ensuring all unit operations, streams, and recycle loops are correctly represented.
• Run numerical simulations to validate throughput, recovery, and product size distribution across multiple ore scenarios.
• Provide a short technical memo summarising key findings, recommended design tweaks, and expected performance improvements.
• Supply the native AggFlow (or equivalent) file plus an exportable PDF of the updated PFD for sharing with stakeholders.
Ability to cross-reference drawings in AutoCAD or Visio is a plus, but the core work must stay within AggFlow-style software. Solid mineral processing know-how—crushing, grinding, screening, classification, and flotation—will be essential to spot realistic optimisation opportunities.
If you’ve previously delivered simulation-driven improvements for mineral plants and can start quickly, let’s talk.
