I'm seeking an experienced firmware developer to implement a fault-tolerant mechanism for our PX4-based quadrotor. The goal is to ensure that, in the event of a rotor failure, the drone can hover in place without crashing. The project will involve creating a custom firmware that will only be triggered upon detection of a fault, using an algorithm-based detection method.

Key Requirements:
- Expertise in PX4 firmware development
- Experience in creating fault-tolerant drone systems
- Proficiency in algorithm-based fault detection methods
- Ability to design and implement custom drone firmware

Your bid should take into account the need for the firmware to be capable of:
