Digital Twin Research for 5G/6G

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I am conducting research on next-generation mobile infrastructure and need a digital twin that mirrors an entire 5G/6G network system, end to end. The focus is strictly on network architecture and design—how every layer, interface, and node behaves under varied traffic loads, spectrum allocations, and topology changes.

What I need you to build
• A virtual replica of the full network stack, from core to RAN, that can run repeatable experiments.
• Parameterised modules for radio units, backhaul, edge, and core cloud functions so I can swap architectures quickly.
• Instrumentation to log KPIs such as latency, throughput, energy usage, and signalling overhead.
• A concise technical report explaining modelling assumptions, key findings, and how to extend the twin for future 6G features.

Tools & environment
Feel free to use platforms like ns-3, OMNeT++, MATLAB, or a Python-based framework—as long as the model remains transparent and editable. Containerised deployment (e.g., Docker) is preferred so I can reproduce your results on my lab machines.

Acceptance criteria
1. I can vary at least three architecture parameters (e.g., DU-CU splits, slicing configurations, routing strategies) and see reflected metrics.
2. The simulation runs without errors on a standard Linux workstation.
3. Documentation is clear enough for another researcher to replicate the study.
