ANSYS Stress-Life Fatigue Assessment
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I already have a solved ANSYS Workbench model of a complex, unconventional metallic structure. The stress field from the prior analysis is ready; what’s missing is a thorough fatigue evaluation carried out inside ANSYS Mechanical Fatigue using the stress-life (S-N) method.
Here’s what I need:
• Configure the fatigue module with an appropriate S-N curve for the metal in question (I can supply raw material data or recognised code values if you prefer).
• Apply mean-stress correction and any multiaxial options that improve realism for the load spectrum I will share.
• Run the solution, highlight critical hotspots, and map damage, life and factor-of-safety contours.
• Summarise findings and recommendations in a short, clear report (PDF and DOCX) that I can forward to stakeholders.
Acceptance criteria:
• ANSYS project file returns converged fatigue results without errors.
• Assumptions, S-N data sources and safety factors are documented.
• Life and damage plots correspond to the supplied load cases and are reproducible on my end.
If you have solid experience with ANSYS Workbench fatigue tools, this should be a focused job that can be wrapped up quickly once you receive the model.
