ANSYS Fluent FSW Butt-Joint Simulation -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹3,500 INR
I need a model of a friction stir welding butt joint built and solved in ANSYS. The workpiece material is aluminium, and I will send you the exact material card together with every boundary condition: fixed supports on the plate edges, the applied forging force, the tool’s rotational speed, and the full geometry of both tool and plate.
From the solved model I must clearly see:
• Overall deformation of the joint during the welding pass
• Von Mises stress contours across the weld zone
• The flow-velocity field that describes material movement around the rotating tool
Please return the native ANSYS Workbench project (or Mechanical & Fluent files if you separate structural and flow physics) plus high-resolution plots and a brief note that explains mesh choices, contact definitions and any assumptions you had to make. I will review the results against the supplied BCs; once the plots correlate with expected weld behaviour the job is complete.
