RF Engineer
Skills/Knowledge
- Solid general background in RF, Microwave and Millimetre Wave theory, techniques and
technologies
- Medium level experience in the design and development of high frequency systems, subsystems and equipment, including integration, testing and general verification concepts
- Specific knowledge and competence in low noise and high stability receivers (noise aspects,
active device technologies, circuit topologies) as used for radiometers applications, including
passive parts such as waveguide structures and filters
- Attitude in challenging the technical designs to get out problems and inject improvements
- Attitude to lead the process of way forward definition within complex technical environments
- Familiarity with main RF CAD simulation tools
- Familiarity with space projects is welcome but non mandatory
Main Tasks
- To support the RF system engineering team in the technical coordination of equipment and
subsystem suppliers in achieving the objectives at Instrument level
- To manage technical activities within extended teams including both suppliers and customers
(progress meetings and design reviews)
- To support the design and development of the Instrument strictly collaborating with the other
disciplines (mechanical, thermal, electrical, procurement, AIT, etc)

-9 Month contract
-Onsite role in Milan, Italy (some traveling required to meet with suppliers)
