High-Fidelity Additive Plant Digital Twin
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I need a photorealistic 3D digital twin of an entire additive-manufacturing plant, created directly inside Siemens NX so I can run end-to-end process simulations and generate virtual toolpaths without jumping between platforms.
What matters most is accuracy: every printer, robot, conveyor, sensor and work-cell must look and behave exactly as it does on the shop floor, down to realistic textures, kinematics and collision envelopes. The core objective is reliable simulation of manufacturing processes; once the twin is live I will drive “what-if” studies for throughput, ergonomics and safety, then export validated toolpaths straight from the model.
You can reference any existing CAD I supply, but expect to rebuild missing assets to the same high-detail standard. Lean polygon counts are welcome as long as visual fidelity is uncompromised.
Deliverables
• Siemens NX file set containing the fully-navigable, high-detail plant model
• Associated simulation logic, event triggers and motion studies ready to run in NX MCD / Plant Simulation
• Toolpath generation workflows proven on at least one representative build plate
• Brief hand-off document outlining layer structure, naming conventions and how to rerun or edit simulations
Acceptance criteria: the twin must load in current Siemens NX without errors, visual differences from reference photos stay under 5 %, and a sample build sequence completes in real time with no collision flags.
If you have solid Siemens NX simulation experience and a portfolio of realistic factory twins, let’s talk timelines and any data you need from me to start.
