Science Fiction Short Story Series

Job ID: 39911039

Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP

I’m commissioning a collection of original science-fiction short stories that I can publish as an anthology. Here’s what I have in mind:

• 4–6 stories, each roughly 3,000–5,000 words
• Fresh concepts—plausible future tech, compelling stakes, and memorable characters
• An outline for each story before you draft, so we stay aligned on tone and plot
• Two rounds of collaborative revisions per story
• Final manuscripts delivered in DOCX and PDF (EPUB is a welcome extra)

I’m flexible about whether the tales share a single universe or stand alone, as long as the quality is consistent across the collection. Originality is critical; every submission must clear plagiarism checks, and I prefer minimal AI assistance—your own voice should shine through.

Strong world-building, crisp dialogue, and a knack for satisfying twists will set you apart. If you’re comfortable formatting for Kindle or adding a brief author’s note for each piece, let me know; it’s a plus but not mandatory.

When you apply, please send one relevant writing sample (science fiction preferred) and a short note on how you approach outlining and revision. Looking forward to building an imaginative anthology together.
