Shopify/Zakeke Designer for Premium Event Printing website
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
Job Description:
We are launching a premium event printing website — and are seeking a creative freelance designer with experience in Shopify and Zakeke Product Customizer.
You will be responsible for customizing a pre-purchased Shopify theme, ensuring it aligns with our elegant brand (black & gold). Additionally, you will develop a large collection of custom print-ready templates for various personal and business events. These templates should be unique, original, and ready for customers to personalize via Zakeke.
Responsibilities:
Customize the Shopify theme to fit our brand's look (elegant, black & gold)
Create and upload original, editable print templates for events like weddings, birthdays, baby showers, memorials, business events, etc.
Organize templates by event type, ensuring smooth navigation for users to find the right templates
Integrate Zakeke into the website, allowing customers to easily personalize text, images, and colors
Ensure all designs are ready for print, with proper bleed and resolution for high-quality output
Ensure each template includes a complete set of matching items, such as:
Posters
Invitation cards
Envelopes
Coasters
Foamcore signs
And other printable event items (as relevant to the event type)
Originality Clause:
All templates must be custom-designed for our brand. Reusing or copying existing templates from online marketplaces (e.g., Canva, Creative Market, Envato, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
Each design must be 100% unique and created from scratch. We take originality and copyright compliance seriously.
Requirements:
Strong graphic design background (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools)
Experience with Shopify theme customization
Experience using Zakeke or similar product customizers
Strong knowledge of print design standards (resolution, file formats, bleed, etc.)
Clean, elegant design style that fits upscale events
Experience creating templates for print-based products is a plus
Bonus Skills:
Experience designing for weddings, parties, or business events
Understanding of Shopify UX and mobile optimization
Ability to create quick user guides or GIFs showing how to use templates
Project Scope:
Freelance / Remote
Immediate start
Initial project includes customizing the Shopify theme and creating approximately 100 original, editable print templates, such as:
Weddings: 5 template sets
Birthdays: 5 template sets
Baby Showers, Memorials, Business Events, and more
Each theme should include a full set of coordinated items, such as:
Posters
Invitation cards
Envelopes
Coasters
Foamcore signs
And other printable event items
Strong potential for long-term collaboration on additional categories and seasonal updates
