Shopify Developer Needed for Advanced Functionality
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a Shopify expert adept at technical aspects, not just design. The store is already set up with a theme, so we're not looking for a designer. Here's what you'll need to handle:
- **COD orders:** We want to send an automatic message to the WhatsApp number with 1 template every time a cash-on-delivery order is placed. After the chatbot confirms the address, that order is added to a confirmed note in Shopify order status.
If they don't reply to a template reminder message at “x” hours
There should be two buttons on WhatsApp message YES / NO.
if the user presses YES then the order should be labeled confirmed.
if the user presses NO we need to ask it for the confirmed address through WhatsApp.
- **Abandoned Cart Recovery:** We need this feature implemented for improved customer retention.
- **Order Status & Label Update:** There's a specific functionality we require - updating order statuses and labels based on incoming WhatsApp messages. This is a bit technical and requires a deep understanding of Shopify's capabilities.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring these functionalities are expertly implemented, working smoothly, and are fully integrated with the existing store setup. You should have experience with developing custom Shopify applications and a solid understanding of how Shopify's backend works.
We're not looking for theme customization or design work at this point, so your expertise in the technical aspects of Shopify development is key.

NOTE: WhatsApp API is not the buyer's responsibility, it already exists all you need is to call and expose the WhatsApp API function inside Shopify.
