Create a simple Shopify plugin

We have a clothing webshop in Shopify. 1 item of clothing has multiple colors. Currently we have added the variations under 1 product. We want to have a plugin made that we can easily switch on and off.
When the plugin is enabled, the product splits the variations on the collections page. It is important that it can be easily restored when the plugin is turned off and that the product in the backend is not actually split, only in the frontend.
We use the plugin Langify in order to translate the site to Dutch
The changes you make must be able to be translated by Langify.
In addition, we also need to be able to control the order of the items in the frontend.
