I need to develop a Public Shopify Application that allows our company to show up as a shipping option to customers at checkout, for those merchants that have installed our application.
- Our API allows you to get a quote when you provide a source, and destination address, and package weight and dimensions.
- The API requires the merchant to provide their username and password as part of the request to the API endpoint. Therefore, the installed application should request that the merchants username and password be entered once. Then all requests to the API end points, will use those credentials. The merchant should also have the option of changing their username and password in the app (only locally) if they need to do so in case they forget their credentials. Perhaps you, the developer, have a better idea for this.

We are the carrier service. We provide 4 shipping options: (rush <= 4 hrs ; sameday <= 8hrs ; priority - next day ; ground - 3-5 days )
Just as Canada Post, Fedex, UPS, etc. show their shipping rates when a customer gets to the checkout, we also want to provide exactly the same thing
