I’m ready to launch an online store for my handmade home-decor pieces and need a developer who can deliver a fast, modern shopping experience that feels as lively as the products themselves.
The storefront
My ideal look is clean and contemporary, with bold colour accents that match my brand palette. High-quality product images should take centre stage, while the rest of the layout stays airy and intuitive on every screen size.
Shopping flow
• Each product page must let shoppers choose both size and colour before adding to cart.
• Checkout should work for guests, yet also encourage account creation through mandatory phone-number login/registration. No email-only sign-ups.
• Integrated payments: Credit/Debit Card and PayPal on day one.
• After purchase, customers receive an order summary by email or SMS and I get real-time inventory updates.
Back-office needs
I need a straightforward dashboard where I can add new designs, upload photos, set variant pricing, track stock per size/colour, and pull basic sales reports without touching code.
Technical notes & deliverables
• Build on a platform that supports variant management and phone-based authentication out of the box or through reliable plugins (Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar—open to your suggestion).
• Fully responsive theme, tested on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, mobile and desktop.
• Handover includes source files, theme customisations, and a short video or document walking me through everyday tasks.
• Go-live support for the first week to squash any launch-day bugs.
