Update Shopify Mobile menu jquery

My one link on my shopify menu, redirects to a # link on the homepage. The problem is that if you are on the homepage, and you click that link(About Us), it doesn't close the menu. It seems like the link isn't working. It works from all other pages, except the homepage where the # section is.
