Streamlining Shopify Return/Exchange Process

We are a growing kidswear brand on Shopify and are facing issues with our return and exchange flow. We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to audit, fix, and optimize our return & exchange process end-to-end.

Scope of work includes:

• Auditing our current return and exchange setup
• Fixing broken or confusing return/exchange flows
• Setting up a smooth exchange process (size/variant exchange, store credit if needed)
• Ensuring correct refund logic (original payment method vs store credit)
• Integrating return/exchange events with Shopify orders
• Connecting return status updates with WhatsApp/email notifications
• Ensuring compatibility with Indian logistics (Delhivery)
• Reducing manual intervention for our operations team

Tech stack:
• Shopify
• Shopify Flow
• Returns app (existing or recommended by you)
• WhatsApp automation (Interakt)

Requirements:
• Strong experience with Shopify (Liquid, APIs, Flow)
• Prior experience working on return/exchange automation
• Ability to document the logic clearly for non-technical founders
• Experience with Indian eCommerce workflows is a big plus

• Clear documentation of how the system works
• Post-deployment testing & fixes
